Those cards are sweet for any time let alone St Valentine's Day. I think your idea of being in a pattern that means you are 'ahead' will bring us all benefits. You are a busy wife, mother, community member and artist, so your schedule is full. The ability to have planning accomplished especially as you head into Lent and Spring which seem to rush upon us in a flash, is so clever and proactive. I can feel it all breathing down my neck already! Thank you also for the last post about your gathering for St Paul. I can see why it was exactly what you all needed despite the tiredness and emotional demands. I have found the same to be true for me - making a concerted effort in the hospitality/community space whilst grieving or simply very busy, paradoxically helps me relax and feel less isolated.

Somehow I'm not surprised that we've both found that hospitality paradoxically helps us amidst grief and life busyness - it's a comfort so share such a special connection with you from afar.

And thank you so, so much for your understanding and support as I try to work a bit further in advance! You're right - Lent truly tends to creep up suddenly. And I want more time to reflect and ponder these holidays and traditions, which means I need to make the creative process less hectic. I'm grateful to have you alongside me in all this!
