On the first day of Christmas, my true love sent to me
A partridge in a pear tree…
Although we’ve been slowly reflecting on Thomasmas together this Advent, I wanted to quickly hop in to share one of my favorite1 printable creations with you… interactive paper scenes designed to help you journey through each of the Twelve Days of Christmas!
If you're looking for another way to savor the Christmas season when it arrives (lingering in all twelve days can feel challenging in our modern world), this might be a fun & simple addition.
Try unveiling and assembling one scene each day, and then by Twelfth-Night, you’ll have an entire woodland Christmas village - and you can tuck the scenes back into envelopes to set-up & reveal again next Christmas.
You can find these festive printables in my Scriptorium (available to my paid subscribers)!
And, up through the end of Christmastide, you can enjoy 15% off of an annual paid subscription:
These paper scenes are also available in my Etsy shop:
Christmastide is a season of culmination, celebrating divine accomplishment alongside the promise of fulfillment - embracing joy amidst the sorrows of our reality. It’s a full season; and I know that same fullness means it can feel complex for us…brimful of paradoxes, happiness and suffering coinciding in our own varied circumstances.
I’m wishing you & yours peace this season - that, in the midst of whatever challenges you’re facing, you would be aware of the peace of Christ glimmering in whatever surprising forms it appears to you.
Pax vobis,
Kristin

Folks, I can’t even tell you what a joy it was creating these - I spent two Advents working on them in bits and pieces, and just had so much fun puzzling out the elements to use in each scene, as well as engineering them. I learn best by playing!
Lovely, Kristin! Merry Christmas! 🎄 ✨
Ahhh, I love these! Lovely post!! Thank you.
