Fantastic!! These are pretty swell Christmas presents to gift to yourself…I believe Grace’s book was a Halloween present to myself last year. 😂 I’m so glad to have you joining in!
Oh, man! I am missing all the zooms lately. I feel so bad, because I know you've put a lot of care and work into these, and also, because they're delightful! Nick & I are attending a silent movie this Saturday & I won't be able to make it!
We'll miss you, but I *totally* understand - and I'm so glad that you & Nick are getting to go do something so awesome!! That sounds super fun! (Truly, never feel badly about missing the zooms - they'll be recorded, and you'll be with us in spirit!)
This book looks like a good fit for me, and I'm surprised I haven't run across it before now. I'm excited to read this along with everyone and (hopefully) make it to at least one of the group meetups. 😊
It's a beautiful book, inside & out - I think it'll be right up your alley! I'm so glad to have you joining us as we read it. (And if you can't make it to the group gatherings, no worries - they'll be recorded!)
I didn’t get around to buying this book even though I follow the lovely Grace and enjoy her thoughts in her newsletter. I’ll go and order it today and look forward to meeting her and discussing it with you all. Such delights in these Bookclubs! Thank you!
I think you’ll really love this one, Cate! As I’m sure you know from her newsletter, Grace makes the Middle Ages so approachable. I’m excited to discuss with you!
I watched the last interview with Eleanor and was sad to miss it. Such interesting questions and discussions. No doubt the same will happen with Grace.
I am not going to be able to make Grace's interview unfortunately. 8am on a Sunday morning and I am getting ready for church. Will you please say hello from me and tell her how much I enjoyed the different chapters and her musings on each.
I've just ordered the book and 'Winters in the World' as well - can't wait! It's my Christmas present to myself :)

Delightful! This is such a good one!
Isn’t it though?! I’m excited to revisit it.
Good to hear that.

Thanks Kristin!
Good morning, I am not able to find the link for the December 16 chat

My book is on the way according to the courier - if it gets here before Monday, should we be at any point in the book for the zoom call?
Yay! Nope, no particular point in the book - it'll just be a time to get to know the book and each other :)
Excellent. I am sure there will be people who have read it so that will be good, to listen to their thoughts.
