Yay! We'll miss you in October, but I totally get it - life is so busy! We'll be recording the live videos, so you'll be able to watch the discussion later if you'd like. And if I can figure out the tech, haha. ;)
Oh dear Kristin--how lovely! I'll be out of town for the October Zoom but will plan on making the November virtual gathering. I'm glad the audiobook is available on Spotify--that totally works. Thank you again for being a voice of recalibration in this overstuffed, busy world.
This read looks AMAZING! I’ve read quite a bit of Oxford/Cambridge scholarship on the liturgy but mostly of the very dry academic sort. seems quite a fitting complement to Katherine May’s “wintering” which I read last year. Fyi to other cash-strapped readers the audiobook is also on Spotify premium!
Carolyn, you'll LOVE this book! Eleanor is so skilled at making history come alive and really distilling her vast knowledge into something so approachable and lyrical. Have you heard her interview on the Risking Enchantment podcast?
Such delight ahead of us. I am glad to be discussing it with you and the rest of your subscribers as you mostly live in the Northern hemisphere and this informs the reading of the book. I have read it once before but not with your specific liturgical/rural season perspective. Oh, the extra chats and the author herself!!! JOY!
I’m SO glad you’ll be joining, Catherine! I’m excited to chat with you and to hear about your Southern Hemisphere perspective…this will be such a fruitful chat.
Thank you, Kristin! I can't wait to begin. I just received my book last week:)
How wonderful!! I’m so glad you’ll be joining, Maria - I’m excited to hear your thoughts on this beautiful book.
I am so excited to read this book! Just ordered it. I can’t make the October group but am excited for the November chat!

We’ll miss you in October, but you’ll be here in spirit! Hugs!
This is so exciting! I just purchased this book in late August. How exciting about hearing from the author herself!
I’m so glad we get to read this together!! It’s a marvelous book, and I’m just over the moon that we get to chat with the author.
😍🎉🙌🏻
Thank you Kristin! I bought the book based on your recommendation and I love it! Thank you for introducing this wonderful book to me!
I’m so thrilled to hear you’re enjoying it! Eleanor has such a knack for communicating history in a meaningful way.
I can’t wait for this!!!
I’m so excited to read along with you & hear your thoughts, Meagan!!

that zoom chat with the author is also amazing targeted marketing to get me to upgrade to paid 😍
How exciting is that?! 😍 Thanks so much for joining us. (Also, thanks for the tip on Spotify - I'm editing my post to add that!)
